Today I decided to cook for a change. I was quite a while since I cooked. So I decided to open some old recipe scrapbook that my Mom used to have. That I swipe when we were cleaning their house for some occasion. I ask Diether, D3 for short to choose what he like. He browse for a while and pick the Pork Ginataan.
Then I opened the fridge and look to see if I have the ingredients available. Then I remember that I need fresh gata (Coconut milk). So off to the market to get gata. When I passed a vegetable stall I saw a green siling pansigang and a bunch of siling labuyo. So I decided to put some kick in the dish. So I both a couple of the two pepper and added bagoong alamang gisado.
Here’s the Ingredients and how to prepeare the Spicy Pork Ginataan with Alamang:
Heat 2 tablespoon Olive oil in a hot pan, then saute 3 cloves crushed garlic and 1 chopped onion. Add 1/2 kilo diced pork. Cook until browned. Add 1/4 cup bagoong alamang gisado. Pour in 1 cup coconut milk (gata). Simmer until pork is tender. Add 1/2 cup sliced siling pansigang. Cook until the sauce is thickened. Adjust seasoning, if needed. And if your in too spicy food add a few pieces of siling labuyo.
You can prepare the ingredients in 5-6 minutes and cooked it in 20 minutes. This is good to 4-6 serving.
Enjoy.
